Date Night Outfit

Hey everyone 🙂 Sorry that it has been awhile, I have been so busy! First of all, a hair update: I chickened out on the hair cut lol. My cousin is getting married in October and I’m going to see a lot of family and I think everyone would just make a big scene if I do it now so I’m going to wait. Plus the fact that I cried about it for days was a good sign that I just wasn’t ready lol. Anyways, here is an outfit I wore out with my boyfriend on Sunday night:

Dress: Forever 21, around $30; Clutch: Bealls, $15. I had been eyeing this dress for awhile on the Forever21 website (it was a top-rated item) but by the time I went to buy it they were all out of my size…grrrrr 😦 So I went to the mall and thankfully they had just one left 🙂

I also wore some leopard print tights from Target, $10. It’s not actually cold enough to need these here but I think they are so cute!

A thin headband with little rhinestones from Forever21, $5.50

Bracelet: Guess, $28

And some red pumps from DSW Shoes; $60

The dress really clings to all your curves, especially if you have a big butt lol 😉

On my nails is “Scarlett O’Hara” & “Good As Gold” by Essie. Sometimes I like to paint random nails different colors and I did each hand different this time. These are great fall colors…and they are also close to the colors of the college I went to…Go ‘Noles 🙂

I am planning on posting a make up review within the next couple days & I will share the dress I got for my cousin’s wedding so stay tuned for that 🙂

Outfit Of The Day

I am super excited for fall fashion to kick off, but right now I am still enjoying my spring-y pastels and my summer-y brights! I will probably be able to enjoy them for some time if I want to since I live in Florida 😉 Today’s outfit was a loose white lace top with a Peter Pan collar and a pastel pink skirt with wedges.  Both items are light weight and have flowery patterns-perfect for spring or summer. The lace top came with an attached white tank so no need to wear a bandeau or other tank underneath. I got both the top and the skirt last week so I am sure they are still available if you are interested 🙂

Shirt: Forever 21, $17.80; Skirt: Forever 21, $17.80

Shoes: Kohls, approx $30 (they were a gift so I’m not 100% sure!)

I also wore pearl flower-shaped earrings from Forever 21, $2.80

And a pearl necklace with a pastel pink rose that a friend got me for my birthday when she was in LA 🙂

On my nails is Essie’s “Turquoise & Caicos.” It reminds me of a robin’s egg blue! I loved the way it popped against the pink! Essie polishes are my favorite right now.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the little collar on my shirt kept getting crooked because of the necklace. Next time I may wear it without it, even though I thought it was so cute! I’m sorry about the quality of the pictures; I don’t own a camera right now so I just used my cell phone. If it turns out I like blogging then I will buy a good camera. Let me know what your favorite trends are right now. Are you starting to break out the fall clothes or sticking with summer fashion for now? 🙂
